We are seeking dedicated individuals with a dependable, team-oriented, and positive, supportive attitude. As a member of our team, you will play a key role as a mentor, assisting those we serve in processing, understanding, and overcoming life’s challenges.
While experience in human services or healthcare is preferred, it is not required. Brian House and our Adult Vocational Programs offer various employment opportunities, though openings may vary.
Brian House has direct support professional positions available. Work with disabled adults in community living arrangements located in Chester, Deep River, Haddam, East Haddam and Lyme.
Applicants Must Have:
- Positive, supportive attitude toward the individual and fellow co-workers
- Willingness to be a mentor to the individuals to help them process, understand and overcome life’s challenges
- Experience preferred but not mandatory
- Paid training provided
- Reliable transportation
- Punctual and dependable
- Ability to work well as a team
AVP has job coach and direct support professional positions available. AVP Inc. staff provide support to adults in community day program and employment settings Monday through Friday.
