Brian House

Beginning with one person, Brian Wolter, Brian House, Inc. has been dedicated to assisting individuals with developmental disabilities to live their lives to the fullest since 1983. It was created out of a commitment to place the individual at the center of its organization.

The mission continues today, providing quality residential services in lower Middlesex County, with Community Living Arrangements, Continuous Residential Support locations and Individual Home Supports.

Brian House recognizes the uniqueness and importance of each individual and seeks to empower the people we support to the best of our abilities. The Agency believes that we are all “Keepers of the Light” and focuses on nurturing a caring, compassionate and committed community.

Adult Vocational Services

Adult Vocational Programs, Inc. has been enhancing the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities since 1983, by providing challenging, valued and rewarding work and community experiences in an integrated setting.

AVP, Inc. has a commitment to integrate the person with disabilities to the mainstream of his or her community, side-by-side with persons who are not disabled, in an integrated setting through Group Support Employment, Individual Supported Employment and Day Support Options.

Staying true to its roots, Adult Vocational Programs maintains close ties to the local community and values well-established relationships with fellow citizens, businesses and organizations.

How the Sister Agencies Work Together

Brian House and AVP together believe that we are all “Keepers of the Light,” and each organization supports the other symbiotically.

With a focus on nurturing a caring, compassionate and committed community, the sister agencies together create a positive and therapeutic environment built on a professional foundation of dignity, respect and trust. Open and honest dialogue is the cornerstone of our communications, and this is the way our community will strengthen and grow. We are highly regarded by our families, as well as various regulatory agencies, and we are committed to the retention, development and advancement of our staff members.
